KOCO 5 News - Oklahoma City App Reviews

This is too time consuming to use. I look up weather and have to go through a minute advertisement (on cars!) to watch the 28 or 33 second forecast! Too much advertising, not enough news. Too much junk added onto this. Waist of my time. This was my favorite but they really messed this up!

Really dislike the videos loaded with advertising. Most people go to the news to read an article quickly. KOCO is no longer my go to app!

KOCO app is extremely better than any of the other local OKC news apps.....your breaking news alerts/releases are incredibly fast!!! Kudos to your employees who are assigned to monitor alerts 24/7.

This is NOT a good app at all. I usually use a different news app.

I LOVE KOCO. But I liked the old app better. I get breaking news notifications and if I cant read the notification right away, I cant find it on the app most of the time. Maybe 30 minutes later. Plus, there are way too many ads. It takes forever to get to the radar.

Only complaint is video crashes.

Keeps me up to date on the news.

Sometimes when the news update shows up on Facebook. Then you go to KOCO app and the story is not there. Also hard to find the story I want. Hard to navigate

I dont like it. Its difficult to navigate. The same story is at multiple locations. You cant get the full story on most arrivals.

Update: ended up deleting of my iPad as it wanted me to upgrade to the new version so I couldnt use it at all so its gone. Still have it on the iPhone but use it only for weather alerts. Update: app is horrible. Have all but stopped using. The new interface is terrible and the 30 second ads you have to watch before you can watch the story shows KOCO has stooped to a new low. Get rid of the ads and go back to the basics or some other news station will figure it out. Really miss the old 5 app. New one is not user friendly and so hard to figure out where to click. The old format was just fine so I hope they can go back and fix this.

Dropped my cable and went with other options. Would not have done that without my KOCO app. Love getting news and weather alerts.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I only use the app for breaking news. The old version was probably in need of an update but this is so hard to use. Its tragic!!! Good luck reading the news... This app prefers video. Really inconvenient

Pop up ads are a good way to get me to delete the app. The app was bad to begin with after the redesign now its worthless

I hate the new version of this app . I have all 3 local news apps and this is the worst of the 3. I click on a news story that interest me and then it takes me into all sorts of different categories that I dont want to go. Too many videos, I would rather read than watch a news story so I dont have to sit through a 30 second ad.

App is very user friendly and keeps you informed of current news. I love the weather portion the radar is the best I can find anywhere! Overall it is the best local news app. That being said, to many Ads.

The app is hard to navigate to get the information I want. Notifications come up but then I cant get the full story.

The new advertisement that now pops up may cause me to use a different station after many months.

Im always using this application to know what happening .. Fast updates
